Balsamic Marinated New York Steak
1lb New York Steak
1/2 cup Eat Simply by dora’s Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
Thyme to garnish
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Coat steak with Eat Simply by dora’s Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad Dressing and seal it in a freezer bag. Massage dressing lightly into the steak and store it in the fridge to marinade for at least an hour or overnight.
Remove steaks from refrigerator, and allow the meat to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Heat grill or cast iron pan till smoking. Sear steak on each side for 3-5 minutes for medium rare or until it reaches an internal temperature of 135F. Transfer steaks onto a cutting board and let the meat rest for 5 minutes.
Season steak with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with some fresh thyme.
